SVision was started in 1999 by James Lee, Ph.D., and a group of machine learning and pattern recognition experts. Aivia was introduced by Luciano Lucas, Ph.D., in 2017. We have 37 patents and been awarded over 16 M USD from US science funding agencies. In 2021, SVision is acquired by Leica Microsystems.
We enable scientific advancement by creating and deploying state of the art teachable image analysis tools, immersive image visualization and interactions.
