>>> 4. If more than one GPU is installed. Make sure Windows knows which one should be used for Aivia. I.e. the one with most dedicated memory.
Mobile workstations / laptops prioritize battery life over performance. NVIDIA has a (relatively short) list of applications that use their board by default. For Aivia Community, you will need to specify that you want NVIDIA to handle the graphics processing instead of the integrated GPU. You can set the global settings such that the NVIDIA card is used for everything, but the method below will better help you balance NVIDIA usage with battery life:
2. You are installing the software while logged in with full admin credentials
3. The PC is connected to the internet
4. A PC with an NVIDIA GPU
5. The GPU drivers are up to date
6. If more than one GPU is installed. Make sure Windows knows which one should be used for Aivia. I.e. the one with most dedicated memory.
7. Aivia is set to use a "Large Working Data Working Folder" that is on a large fast drive. You can set it here: file>options>advanced
8. Optional (if you have a GPU with lots of dedicated memory, I.e. >6GB), remove the rendering limitations in Aivia. file>options>general>display. Set "3D volume side limit" and "3D volume side limit of blocks" to zero (0)
To elaborate on @Luciano Lucas's list:

Before you download and install Aivia / Aivia Community please make sure the minimum hardware requirements are met.
Please ensure the following if true:
1. A PC (windows) is being used
2. You are installing the software while logged in with full admin credentials
3. The PC is connected to the internet
4. A PC with an NVIDIA GPU
5. The GPU drivers are up to date
6. If more than one GPU is installed. Make sure Windows knows which one should be used for Aivia. I.e. the one with most dedicated memory.

There is also a tutorial on how to set up Aivia / Aivia Community here: https://drvision.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AW/pages/229964/First+time+set-up?src=search
Please first check your graphic card model:
Ctrl + Alt + Del > Task Manager (click on "More Details" if necessary)
Select "Performance" tab and click on "GPU" section at the bottom
You will find here the "Dedicated GPU Memory" and the model name
We recommend at least 4 Gb of video RAM (even if 2 Gb can work for small 3D images)
